Our Story:

Photography has always been a part of who we are. Our founder’s love for capturing life’s moments began in junior high, when they first picked up a camera and found an artistic outlet in the world around them. This passion led to formal training at the Art Institute of Denver, where skills and techniques flourished. But like many journeys, life had other plans—choosing a more traditional 9-to-5 job over creative pursuits, our founder eventually sold their camera to focus on work and responsibilities.

But passion doesn’t fade. It waits. It calls. And for AB Designs, it came back in full force. The turning point came at a family wedding, when our founder witnessed the disappointment of a poorly captured event. Watching their stepdaughter’s wedding photos come back less than perfect, the spark reignited—so much so that they grabbed a camera and captured some of the most beautiful, candid moments of the day. It was then that it became clear: photography was not just a hobby, it was a calling.
